2016

Enhanced capability for quantification is brought by a Triple Quadrupole mass spectrometer.

2014

Proteome Factory is partner in the EU-funded EPISTOP project which aims at biomarker discovery in epileptogenesis.

2013

Two high resolution mass spectrometers are commissioned: one Orbitrap XL and one LTQ-FT Ultra.

2009

Move to new and larger premises in the Science and Technology Park Berlin-Adlershof

2006

In the beginning of the year 2006 Proteome Factory launches the new SEQUiT! release 4.0 with batch mode analysis of MSMS spectra.

VWR BioSciences and Proteome Factory close a cooperation treaty. Proteomic Factory's special contract research and analytical services are now available in Europe and USA.

In June 2006 Proteome Factory launches the new SEQUiT! release 4.1 with online version and comfortable viewer.

June 8th, 2006 Proteome Factory published its new web site offering new products and services.

2005

Proteome Factory receives its MeCAT - metal coded tagging technology - patent from the German Patent and Trade Mark Office (DPMA).

SEQUiT! and spotXpress enter to the market in the end of the year. During the Annual World Congress HUPO in summer 2005 Proteome Factory presented the new de novo peptide sequencing software as well as the spot picking robot in common with MeCAT technology.

2004

R&D:
Proteome Factory has been granted by the BMBF for a project in the field of bioprodution.

2003

Proteome Factory has moved from Berlin - Charlottenburg to new labs at Berlin - Mitte.

R&D:
Proteome Factory has been granted by the BMWA for a project in proteomics technologies and by BMBF for a project in lab automatisation.

2002

Proteome Factory files patents on new proteomic technologies.

2001 - And the Winner is...


In 2001 the Company starts it's successful work. Proteome Factory AG wins several business plan competitions:

- TU-Unternehmensgründerpreis 2001
- Businessplan Wettbewerb Berlin-Brandenburg
- Sonderpreis der Wirtschaftsjunjoren 2001

R&D:
Proteome Factory has been granted by the BMBF for a project in proteomics technologies.

2000 - Foundation

In November 2000 Proteomic Factory AG is founded by Dr. Christian Scheler and a group of scientist as a spin off company from Technische Universität Berlin and Charité.
